Monday evenings, throughout the summer (from mid-July on), the public is invited once again to North University Community Branch Library for a series of hour-long concerts on our outdoor patio. These free concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of musical styles. This year, Music Mondays includes the following lineup:
July 13: George Svobada, classical/flamenco guitarist.
July 20: Local Condition, bluegrass, folk, and depression blues.
July 27: Bayou Brothers, New Orleans zydeco, blues, and R & B.
August 3: Travis Daudert Jazz Trio
August 10: Leonard Patton, keyboardist and Jazz/R&B song vocalist.
August 17: Paula Simmons Quaretto Sorrento, string quartet.
August 24: Calafia Music Guild, Renaissance music played with period instruments.
August 31: Peter Rutman Band, blues and jazz.
September 7: Labor Day, Library closed.
September 14: Ebony Fourest Clarinet Quartet, classical, pop and jazz.
