All members of the North UC Friends of the Library are invited to attend the regular monthly Board of Directors Meeting, to be held Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 PM, in the Community Room of the Branch Library.

At the September 24th annual meeting of the members of the NUC Friends of the library, the nominated slate of officers was elected. The number of board members has been expanded to provide support for our growing organization, and the increased activities and projects we are undertaking. In other actions at the annual meeting the board approved and reconfirmed donations totaling $11,000 to the branch covering multiple needs from books to equipment. The Friends thank all their members, supporters, and patrons of the bookstore for making this possible.

This Wednesday, July 22nd, the NUC Friends Board will meet in the Community Room of the Branch Library at 6:30 PM. Our nominating committee, headed by Ralph Vissell, will be presenting their suggested slate of officers for the next year, to be elected by the general membership at the annual meeting on September 24th. We will also be considering for adoption the new by-laws drafted by the corporate Friends group.
